Fashion Designer Mary Ping ’00 to Speak About Her Conceptual Line, “Slow and Steady Wins the Race” (10/30)

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Mary Ping ’00 is coming to speak at Vassar on October 30th at 6:00PM in Taylor Hall 203. Mary is a fashion designer who has designed under her own name as well as in a more conceptual line, “Slow and Steady Wins the Race”. Her work has been in a number of exhibitions, including in 2017 at MOMA. Also in 2017, “Slow and Steady Wins the Race” received Cooper Hewitt’s National Design Award for Achievement in Fashion Design. She graduated from Vassar College in Studio Art in 2000.
