There is a lot going on at Vassar—over 1,000 campus-wide events annually. MODFEST returns to Vassar as artists explore the theme of “Adapting” in an everchanging world through written and spoken words, visual arts and performance, February 1 - 11, 2018

Modfest, Vassar College’s annual exploration of the arts of the 20th and 21st centuries, will consider the concept of “Adapting,” February 1 – 11, 2018. Throughout these two weeks, artists will examine different perspectives of what this can mean in our ever-changing world through written and spoken words, visual arts and performance.

First Comes Love: Portraits of Enduring LGBTQ Relationships Photographs by B. Proud from January 25 – March 5, 2018; reception on February 1

First Comes Love: Portraits of Enduring LGBTQ Relationships, an exhibition of photographs and love stories that celebrates the lives and enduring relationships of LGBTQ couples from across the U.S., will be on display January 25 - March 5, 2018 at the James W. Palmer ’90 Gallery. A reception will be held on Thursday, February 1st, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
